Steps to change primary water filters (1-3)


The home filter device consists of two types of water filters, a candle with a plastic cover, and it is vertically shaped and made up of membranes with one use, as in the picture.

How to remove the old filter

  1. Make sure the water valve supplying the home filter device is closed.
  2. Close the valve that connects the home filter device to the water tank, usually a quarter turn clockwise.
  3. If the home filter device is connected to a refrigerator or another tank, close it also in the same way.
  4. Open the water tap connected to the filter device, to remove the collected water and air.
  5. Before the next step , we advise you to place a plastic cover on the floor, due to the possibility of water leaking from the device, and to keep your place clean.
  6. Using your hands or a wrench, open the filter you want to change as shown.

7. Carefully remove the black ring, wash it with water and store it in a safe place.

8. Dispose of the old filter by placing it in a plastic garbage bag and closing it tightly.

9. Wash the plastic cover with water and chlorine or soap. Use a brush to clean if there are any stuck-on deposits. Make sure to rinse it well from soap or chlorine, then dry it.

10. Put the black ring back in place, as it helps secure the plastic cover and prevent water leakage. If it is damaged, replace it. (Available at plumbing and hardware stores)

11. Dispose of gloves and wash your hands.

Installing the new filter

  1. Wash your hands well with soap and water before touching the new water filter, to avoid transferring any germs to it. Bring the new filter and remove the plastic protective sleeve.
  2. Install it in the same plastic cover (mounting direction does not matter) but make sure it sits firmly in the center of the cover.

3. Replace the plastic cap on the home filter device using only your hands, twist it tightly without using force.

4. In the last step, reopen the water valve, and see if there are any leaks. If there is a leak, close it again and repeat the steps.

5. Open the filter water tap, within 1-2 minutes water will start flowing, this means your device is working properly!


The water is still not drinkable! Make sure not to open the valve of the water tank or refrigerator .

6. After that, close the water tap.

Steps to change the membrane filter (reverse osmosis filter)


This type of filter is installed horizontally on top of the home filter device. Water filters of this type are changed once every two or three years, and this depends on the daily production and the amount of substances dissolved in the water. Remove the old membrane filter

  1. Follow the steps in the first steps to change filters, if you haven't already done so:

  3. Save the installation directions as shown in the picture, so you can install the new filter in the correct direction.

  1. Remove the plastic cover from the new membrane filter.
  2. Install the filter so that the two black rings are facing the inside of the plastic cover (as shown in the picture in the previous paragraph.), and twist it until the filter is securely attached. This step is important, if you do not secure it well, unfiltered water will flow into the drinking water tank.
  3. Reinstall the connecting tube securely. Make sure it is installed correctly to prevent any water leaking out of the device.
  4. Now, restart the water valve, and see if there are any leaks. If there is a leak, close it again and repeat the steps.
  5. Open the filter water tap, within 1-2 minutes water will start flowing, this means your device is working properly!
